Erica Bristol
Erica Bristol is an attorney and commercial Mediator, resolving business and personal disputes for a wide variety of clients.
Ms. Bristol is a 2022-2023 JAMS Diversity Fellow. She completed the Los Angeles County Bar Association/Dispute Resolution Services’ Mediation Training Program in 2006. She currently serves as a Panel Mediator for the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the Santa Barbara Superior Court. As a commercial Mediator for almost 2 decades, Ms. Bristol has skillfully assisted individuals and businesses resolve contractual disputes, intellectual property infringement matters, landlord/tenant disputes, and homeowner’s association (HOA) matters, both before and during litigation.
Erica received her law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1999. Her background includes over 11 years as in-house corporate counsel and corporate secretary for a corporation and its numerous affiliates, allowing her to understand the legal and business aspects of disputes. Her practice areas include commercial contracts and transactions, business owner disputes, intellectual property (trademark, copyright, trade secret), software licensing, and commercial real estate.
Ms. Bristol is a member of the Intellectual Property Law and Business Law sections of the California Lawyers Association, and the National Bar Association.
